4Schools Suite of Web Applications

CESA 6 is excited to announce the development of six new products. While some of these products will be brand new, several of them will be a second generation of modules that already exist in our Link4Learning product. The primary goal of these products is ease of use! These products include:

CMS4Schools

CMS4Schools is a Web site Content Management System (CMS) that allows districts to fully maintain their district and school Web sites with absolute ease. With our exclusive Faculty Pages, teachers can easily publish Web pages containing class notes, assignments, photographs, calendars and more. The main administrative tools will enable your webmasters and clerical staff to work together to keep your site accurate and up-to-date. Curriculum4Schools

Curriculum4Schools will allow districts to completely map their curriculum district-wide. Curriculum4Schools is completely customizable allowing districts to set up the application to meet their current curriculum needs. The system will come preloaded with the WI State Standards and WI Assessment Frameworks and will allow each district to upload their own district data. With the wide array of curriculum reports, district personnel can conduct real-time curriculum audits. LessonPlanner4Schools

LessonPlanner4Schools will allow teachers to build and document their lesson plans in one central database. Because the system is Web-based, they can prepare and edit their lessons from home. This is especially beneficial when substitute teachers are needed. Because all this data is housed in one application, principals will be able to review all his/her teachers’ lesson plans by clicking from teacher to teacher. If your district is also using Curriculum4Schools, your teachers will be able to attach their lessons to the units in the curriculum product with absolute ease. Teachers will love LessonPlanner4Schools because it takes something that they are already doing and makes it easier!
 

Calendar4Schools

Calendar4Schools will allow district personnel to maintain all their calendars from one centralized system. This calendar will integrate directly with CMS4Schools or provide calendars that can be used on a district’s Web site (if you are not using CMS4Schools). When adding events to the calendar, district personnel can check out facilities and resources. Individuals outside of the district will be able to view facility calendars and request the use of a facility right from the district’s site. The reports for maintenance staff is a key feature. Finally, one comprehensive database for all of your calendar and facility needs.
 

AssessmentData4Schools

Coming soon...AssessmentData4Schools will allow teachers and administrators to view and analyze student data in one centralized database. With the data entry screen, districts will be able to collect local assessment data directly from the classroom. The import tools will enable district personnel to upload ANY assessment data. The reporting tools will allow staff to build classroom and student reports comparing data from multiple assessments and by looking at multiple years of data longitudinally. Finally -- a Web application that will make student assessment data meaningful for effective learning.
 

WebOffice4Schools

Coming Soon...WebOffice4Schools will be a key ingredient as districts work to go paperless. It will allow you to organize all your resources in one-centralized, online database. These resources can be uploaded files, links to Web sites, internally built pages or online fillable forms with approval routing. A powerful search utility and a favorites tool will allow staff members to find resources immediately. Best of all, staff will always be accessing the most up-to-date version of each resource.
 

Each of the 4Schools products will be connected allowing for one database of teachers, classes, students, etc. District staff will be able to log into one of these applications and move seamlessly from one application to another. In addition, all the 4Schools products will integrate directly with CMS4Schools (www.cms4schools.com). If there is data or information in any of the 4Schools products that should be available to parents and/or the general public, CMS4Schools is the vehicle that makes it simple to display this content.
