Focus will be on restrictions on liberties, particularly on discrimination against Italians and Japanese Americans, restrictions imposed against fascist supporters, discrimination against women and African Americans. DeRose was a third year TAH participant.
Lesson Plan, Ethnic Discrimination during WW II - Ben Christian, Neenah High School
Lesson unit addresses Japanese internment, as well as discrimination of Italian and German Americans, and contrast their treatment to that of German POWs in the U.S. Christian was a member of the 3rd year teacher cohort.
