The CESA 6 Safe and Healthy Schools/ Communities provides consultation and support to districts on planning, assessment, policy development, implementation, and evaluation of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) programs and practices, linked to Standards of the Heart. |

| Crisis Planning |
Regional Crisis Team supports the development of a regional crisis team to support districts' planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of their individual crisis management plans and procedures. |

CESA 6 Instructional Services provides leadership within a continus improvement model of best practices in the design, development, implementat and sustainability of local standards-based curricula, assessments, and instruction. |

| Deaf / Hard of Hearing |
An array of educational services to support school districts to meet the needs of children with hearing loss including: Consultation, Educational Audiology, DHH Programs, and Educational Interpreter. |

| Early Learning Resources |
| CESA 6, through an IDEA Discretionary Grant provides professional development, consultation and materials support to the 42 districts in CESA 6 with links to regional and statewide initiatives and services. |

| Educator Licensing |
| CESA 6 provides an array of services to support the licensing of educators. These services include license renewal, National Board Certifying and Alternative Licensure (RITE). |

| E-Learning |
Cesa 6 provides leadership and support in the areas of distance education (BadgerNet two way video), online content provision and an online consortium of local school districts. |

|
| ESEA - No Child Left Behind |
| ESEA Services provide oversight, information, professional development and technical assistance regarding aspects of No Child Left Behind. The service is offered through a consortium or consulting basis. |

| Fallen Timbers Environmental Center |
| Fallen Timbers is an environmental center located near Seymour, WI owned by six area school districts and operated by CESA 6. The educators at Fallen Timbers provide hands-on learning opportunities for students throughout the state. |

|
|
| Grant Writing and Related Services (GROW) |
The GROW (Grant Resources of Wisconsin) Grant Office assists school districts and other nonprofit agencies in identifying funding sources and then developing and submitting grant proposals to support educational programming initiatives. The GROW Evaluation Department provides evaluation services for both grant projects and specific school district programs that are not grant-related. GROW can also arrange to provide project development, project management, and implementation consultation services, as needed. |

| Homeless Education of Children and Youth |
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 2001 - Title X, Part C of the No Child Left Behind Act - Sec. 725. This act requires districts to ensure homeless students have access to education and other services they need to meet the same high academic achievement standards as all students. |

| Individualized Youth Services |
The Individualized Youth Services program is a community-based alternative to long-term residential care for children with severe emotional disturbance (ages 6-17). |

| Legislative Leadership Forum |
The legislative leadership forum is open to all District administrators and school board members in the CESA 6 region. Forums are held throughout the legislative floor periods and give District Administrators and school board members an opportunity to dialog with area Legislators about state policy issues, with a primary focus on those issues dealing with education.

| Literacy Center |
Provides support services such as the Literacy Leadership Consortium, Reading Specialist Network, NCLB Cell Performance Improvement, Needs Assessment and Program Design, Active Literacy Strategies, and the Secondary Literacy Network. |

| Media Center |
| The CESA 6 Media Center provides an extensive collection of materials for direct classroom instruction as well as professional staff development. |
|
| Pupil Services |
Pupil services support educational programs to facilitate and enhance the learning process for all students. Services include School Psychology and School Social Work. |

| Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) |
The Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) is made up of the 42 school district administrators from the CESA 6 region. PAC meetings are held monthly to share information, plan services and provide other professional development opportunities for district administrators. |

| Professional Networks |
| CESA 6 Professional Networks provide an opportunity for leaders to engage with peers regarding topics of interest within their discipline. |

|
|
| Regional Competitions |
| CESA 6 facilitates regional competitions for the State Spelling Bee and Kohl's Scholarship Program. Regional Champions become eligible for state level competitions. |

| School Based Services |
CESA 6 offers school districts an opportunity for school based services billing / reimbursement. CESA 6 offers Medicaid billing services to assist districts in recovering costs for medically related special education services. |

| Special Education services provide an array of products, services, and professional development activities designed to strengthen the capacity of educational institutions to successfully educate all students to reach their maximum potential in the least restrictive environment. |

| Teacher Leader Effectiveness Project |
It is imperative that we have effective teachers in every classroom and effective leaders in every school/district. CESA 6 is committed to partnering with our 42 regional school districts to recruit, support, assess and retain effective teachers and leaders in our schools/districts. |

| Teaching American History |
| The Teaching American History Project provides grade 4-12 teachers professional development opportunities to improve U.S. history content knowledge from various perspectives and sources. |

| Technology Services |
The mission of the CESA 6 Technology Services is to assist school districts as they attempt to meet the instructional needs of students and staff through the use of technology. |

| CESA 6 offers a comprehensive approach to providing transition services that help students with disabilities transition into adult life. |

CESA 6 offers a variety of educational services to support school districts to meet the needs of children with vision loss, including evaluation, consultation, itinerant vision services and orientation and mobility training. |

CESA 6 has developed a district Website content management system (CMS4Schools), a district intranet application and a powerful curriculum and assessments application (Link4Learning). |

| Wisconsin OPEB |
Government organizations interested in establishing a trust fund to manage other post employment benefits have a new option. The Wisconsin OPEB Trust was designed to manage the health, dental, prescription and long-term care benefits for government retirees and their beneficiaries. |
