This school year the Reading Specialist Network is evolving into a new format!
Prior to each meeting, network members will be sent an electronic survey of possible current topics to address during the meeting. Once the votes are in, an agenda will be emailed to members and an article relating to the agenda’s topic/s will be mailed.
Meetings will center around the selected topics/s, as well as a “book talk” about the article sent prior to the meeting. Topics might include, but are not limited to:
-Becoming a Literacy Leader
-Legislative Updates
-NCLB and meeting AYP
-RTI: Response to Intervention
-Fluency and Comprehension
-Adult Learning
-Cognitive Coaching
In addition to the three network meetings, as a member of the CESA 6 Reading Specialist Network, you can choose to attend one of a select group of professional development opportunities at no additional charge.
Cost for Network includes three network meetings plus one full-day workshop.
