Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) Training for K-2 a 5-Day training

Developed and instructed by Irene Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell, this training program identifies solutions for struggling readers and writers in grades K-2.  This program can be implemented in any school to supplement a good classroom literacy program and Reading Recovery as part of a comprehensive literacy approach.

Leveled Literacy Intervention Grades 3-6 (Levels L-Q) Building Upon LLI K-2 System

LLI is a  small group intervention for children in Grade 3 who find reading and writing difficult to learn.  The children selected for the interventions are the lowest achievers in literacy in their grade level and are not receiving another intervention.

Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) Network

This network offers continued support in LLI. The potential of LLI lies not in the purchased materials, but rather in the expertise of the teachers.  This network continues to build the knowledge, skills and dispositions critical to produce student acceleration with sharp slopes on progress monitoring charts.

Network Member Benefits:

- Face-to-face workshops to debrief lessons and anchor observations, hypotheses and theories in professional resources by Marie Clay, Irene Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell;
