Completed in 1991, houses 2 classrooms, an orientation room, kitchen, restrooms, and staff offices.

Thomas Lutsey Overnight Cabins

Lutsey II Cabin

The Lutsey II Cabin houses 30 students, during weekday and weekend environmental education studies on the 456-acre landbase.

Muzzle-Loaders' Cabin
Muzzle-Loaders' Cabin

An 1869 Muzzle-Loaders' Cabin, removed from an adjacent homestead site over 30 years ago, serves as the "historical" environmental education center for visiting students and teachers.

Fallen Timbers' Paths

Fallen Timbers, consisting of lowland deciduous forest, has 8.5 miles available for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Environmental studies begin here!

Continuing Cartier Education Environmental Classroom and Maple Syrup Cabin

Dedicated in March, 2008, the Continuing Cartier Education Environmental Classroom is used as a maple syrup cabin, and is the primary center for student and adult maple syrup programs in March and early April. Also used as a four-seasons classroom, this stunning log cabin serves as a wonderful gathering area.
