kids in a classroom
The primary focus of the CESA 6 ELL Center is assisting districts and schools in the provision of the best education for all students. The CESA 6 ELL Center has received Title III funding through the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) to provide services, district/school level support and educational and professional development opportunities which will ultimately assist English Language Learner (ELL) and immigrant students.

CESA 6 strives to keep continual relationships with school district administrators and school staff to determine common needs relating to best practice and the education services of ELL and immigrant students. In order to address these needs, the CESA 6 ELL Center takes initiative to not only develop, but continually provide high quality networks, resources, and professional development opportunities which will ultimately improve the education of Limited English Proficient (LEP) and immigrant students by assisting the ELL children to learn English and meet challenging state academic content.
