Rigor, Relevance and Relationship Network

This network is designed to provide on-going support for individuals trained in the RRRR Framework who are responsible for moving this professional development forward in district. Nicole Hochholzer will facilitate four half day network sessions with agendas built on participant needs. The RRR Network will assist districts in building the capacity necessary for moving curriculum, instruction and assessment forward at the district, school and classroom levels.

CORR (Collaborating Online for Rigor and Relevance)

This high quality professional development introduces the Rigor/Relevance Framework and guides participants though the development of high rigor/high relevance lessons. The Rigor/Relevance Framework is used in schools across the country and around the world to make instruction and assessment more rigorous and more relevant for all students. CORR will be offered in a thirty-hour online collaborative environment, to facilitate a rigorous and relevant approach to curriculum and instruction. As part of this professional development, participants will collaborate with other peers in an online-forum.

This is an online forum for teachers to learn to write quality Gold Seal Quadrant D Lessons. Quadrant D lessons proactively plan for students to be involved in high rigor/high relevance academics. For districts that have participated in the International Center Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships professional development offered through CESA 6 over the past two years, this is a way to continue to spread awareness and capacity to classroom teachers. Participants will have access to a multitude of Gold Seal Lessons upon completion of coursework and submittal of own Gold Seal Lessons to the CESA 6 Gold Seal Lesson Warehouse.

Instructional Strategies professional Development-Online Learning Opportunity

Professional development in Instructional Strategies is being offered by CESA 6 in an online collaborative environment to facilitate a rigorous and relevant approach to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This 15-hour online learning experience will provide a comprehensive review of seventeen research-based instructional strategies. This high-quality professional development will serve to refresh and strengthen instructional strategies that any new or veteran teacher can immediately implement in his or her classroom. As a part of this professional development, participants will collaborate with other teachers in an online-forum.
