The CESA 6 Writing Assessment provides districts with analytical scores that help teachers help their students. This instrument gives teachers and students diagnostic information about a student's strengths and deficiencies in:

Services in the CESA 6 Writing Program include:
  • Reporting at the district, school, classroom and individual levels
  • Providing districts with options for implementing a writing assessment program
  • Working with districts to develop a common language for writing
  • Expanding district assessment tools used to target instruction
  • Providing valuable data at the district, school, classroom, and individual levels
  • Fostering data decision-making and data analysis
