Math Center Goal: To improve student learning through best practices in mathematics.
This professional development is designed to be an ongoing process to improve mathematics instruction at the classroom level by:
- teaching and receiving high quality instructional feedback from Dr. Tim McNamara and peers,
- observing and modeling mathematical coaching at the classroom level,
- applying a coaching model for mathematics instruction,
- fostering leadership for the implementation of a coaching model for mathematics instruction, and supporting a continuous improvement model at the classroom, building and district levels,
- supporting a continuous improvement model at the classroom, building and district levels.
