CESA 6 communication and public relations services are led by professional school public relations person, supported by a graphic designer, and the educational resources of CESA 6.

Services can be provided at an hourly rate or annual contract. Members of the communication consortium receive a reduced hourly rate.

Communication Audit

A communication audit assesses the current state of internal and external communication within a district.  Various techniques are used to develop a complete picture of the district from focus groups and interviews, to electronic surveys and analysis of various data provided by the district.  A complete report is provided to the district administrator with specific recommendations about how to improve communication.

Join the CESA 6 Communication Consortium

Districts that are seeking professional assistance for current public relations or communication efforts may receive:

  • Short articles on emerging education issues for districts to customize for use in newsletters, press releases, Website content, media contact, etc;
  • A tips and techniques newsletter for communicating about current issues in the news;
  • Ideas for connecting national news to local events;
  • On-call telephone consultation for media relations guidance;
  • CESA 6 members receive recap talking points after each Legislative Breakfast Forum.

EduVision Video Channel

Each CESA 6 district may purchase an EduVision Channel hosting service to share videos about school district activities, events, etc.
